De gospel in Do The 45 is een jaarlijks terugkerend fenomeen. Alhoewel? Er staat me niets van bij dat ik het afgelopen jaar heb gedaan, maar in 2023 en 2024 zeker. In 2022 heb ik de beste gedaan, alleen ben ik dan vergeten om op 'record' te drukken waardoor de show alleen voor directe luisteraars is geweest. Ik baal daar extra van omdat ik de volgende dag naar de show wil luisteren tijdens een wandeltocht. Het jaar erna doe ik min of meer een herhaling van 2023 aan de hand van de speellijst maar dan zonder inspiratie. Halverwege de show bekruipt me altijd even het gevoel dat het 'overkill' is, maar gewoon doorgaan. Aan het einde van de rit ben ik ook wel weer klaar voor een jaar en dat is nu hoe ik in de wedstrijd sta. Ik wil van afgelopen avond wel graag de volledige speellijst delen. In het tweede uur zit een plaat die ik gistermiddag heb gekocht en de afsluiter van de show (na 3 uren en 20 minuten) komt deze week eveneens aan bod.
